GAME ON.
FEET UP.
Big game. Bigger plans to do absolutely nothing else.
GTA 6 is coming. And after years of waiting, we're finally heading back to Vice City.
You've probably thought about the game. Maybe even cleared your calendar. But have you thought about where you're going to sit?
Because when you're planning to spend a few evenings exploring Leonida (or a few weeks, no judgement), comfort isn't exactly optional.
Here's how to create a cosy gaming setup worth staying in for.
THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER.
When is GTA 6 out in the UK?
Thursday 19 November 2026. That's the scheduled GTA 6 release date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC release still to be confirmed.
This time, we're heading to Leonida, a Florida-inspired state that's home to Vice City, with Jason and Lucia at the centre of the story.
And the timing couldn't be better for staying in.
Think dark evenings, the heating on and absolutely no reason to leave the house once you've got comfortable.
Well, apart from snacks. Obviously.
GOOD GAMING
STARTS WITH
A GOOD SEAT.
FIRST, FIND YOUR SPOT.
Forget the idea that you need a dedicated gaming room. You really don't.
A corner of the living room. That awkward bit of bedroom space. Even somewhere under the stairs. With a little thought, almost anywhere can become a pretty good gaming setup.
Start with a clear view of the screen, somewhere to plug everything in and enough room to stretch out.
Then give yourself somewhere worth sitting.
A bean bag is a pretty good place to start. Soft, flexible and made for sinking into, it's a much more relaxed alternative to a traditional gaming chair.
And unlike bulky furniture, it doesn't have to take over the room. Lightweight, easy to move and just as good for watching films, reading or doing absolutely nothing.
One comfy seat, plenty of ways to use it. Shop gaming here.
MORE LOUNGE.
LESS LAUNCH PAD.
Gaming room ideas for grown-ups.
We're not saying there's anything wrong with flashing lights and a gaming chair that looks ready for take-off.
But if that's not your thing, there's another way.
Think of your gaming corner as an extension of your home, rather than a completely different world.
TEXTURE DOES THE TALKING.
Cosy cord, soft fur, cosy velvet and warm neutrals. Good-looking comfort without turning your lounge into an arcade.
SET THE MOOD.
A warm lamp instead of the big light. A soft rug underfoot. A chunky throw for when the evening turns into early morning.
KEEP IT CLEVER.
Controllers in a basket. Headphones on a hook. Cables out of sight. A little organisation goes a long way.
Because good furniture shouldn't only have one job.
COMFORT IS THE REAL UPGRADE.
You can have the biggest screen, the newest console and the fastest internet going. But none of it makes an uncomfortable seat any better.
And when you've got a long gaming session ahead, the little things start to matter.
A supportive backrest. Enough room to change positions. Somewhere to put your feet up when things get serious.
That's where our bean bags come in.
From high-back bean bag chairs that offer a little more support to roomy loungers made for stretching out, there's a shape for every kind of player.
They're soft enough to settle into, practical enough for everyday living and good-looking enough to leave out when the console's switched off.
Because gaming furniture can be proper furniture too.
THE GIFT OF
DOING NOTHING.
For the gamer who's got everything. Almost.
With GTA 6 arriving just ahead of Black Friday and Christmas not far behind, gaming gifts are probably going to be a popular choice this year.
But not every good gift needs a power button.
A comfy bean bag. A footstool for stretching out. A soft throw for those evenings that turn into early mornings.
The kind of gifts that make their favourite things even better.
And unlike the game they'll eventually finish, a good seat will still be there for whatever comes next.
That's what we call money well spent.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS.
When does GTA 6 come out in the UK?
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on Thursday 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC release date hasn't been announced yet.
Are bean bags good for gaming?
Absolutely. Bean bags offer flexible, sink-in comfort, making them a great choice for relaxed console gaming. Choose a supportive, high-back shape if you prefer sitting more upright, or a roomy lounger if stretching out is more your thing.
What's the best seat for console gaming?
It depends on how you like to sit. A high-back bean bag chair offers a more upright position, while a larger floor lounger is ideal for relaxing. Whatever you choose, make sure you can see the screen comfortably and change positions easily.
How do I make a small gaming setup cosy?
Start with the seat, then build around it. A soft rug, warm lighting, a cosy throw and a little storage make a big difference. Lightweight bean bags are especially useful for smaller rooms because they're easy to move when you need the space back.
